Step by step
The i-StartUp Identity Wizard will take you through all the information we need to understand your business and your personal preferences. Beginning with:
Stage 1
To help us design your company’s identity, we need to record accurate address, contact and company details you have. Try to complete as much information as you can. The information you give us will appear on your stationery set. If you struggle in any area you can refer to our help or FAQ section or contact us.
Stage 2 – Your business
This stage is very important. It helps us to form a good picture of what it is you’ll be doing, and who your customers will be. We’d also like you to tell us whether your products and services will be low cost or premium. Try to complete each section as clearly as possible. If you struggle email info@i-startup.co.uk
Stage 3 – Style and colour
The aim of the 'Choose your style' stage is to help us understand what you want to see in your identity’s overall look, both in the layout and fonts and also the colour or 'mood'. We also give you the opportunity to tell us about specific likes and dislikes if you have any.
The 'Choose your style' part gives us guidance on the fonts and layout you prefer. These could be dictated by what your customers will want to see or just by what you like. We’ve provided some examples alongside each term to help you decide.
The 'Choose your colour palettes' section helps us to understand the mood or psychological effect you want to achieve in your identity through colour. We use a selection of these colours to produce your identity.
Stage 4 – Select artwork formats
Now you’ve completed the Identity Wizard you have 2 choices:
1. Select whether you want to receive just the digital, print-ready (pdf) files, complete with a jpg and ai (vector) version of your logo.
2. Select any of our printed stationery options if you want us to handle your print. Simply choose the service(s) you need and the cost will be added to your identity creation fee. These will then be delivered to you within 10 working days. See 'Stationery Print' within our FAQs for more details. This also come with digital (pdf) versions of your identity.
Stage 5 – Finish & Pay
Simply fill in the secure Paypal payment system with you credit or debit card details and that completes the process.
What happens next?
Now you’ve finished our Identity Wizard we can go ahead and create your identity visuals. Within 3 working days you will receive an email from us, asking you to login and have a look at your new identity. You'll see 2 separate designs as a set of stationery (letterhead, compliments slip and business card). You can then amend (max 2 times), or approve your identity. The whole process should take no more than 5 working days.
Once you're happy, we’ll send you the digital files or process and deliver your print order (within 10 working days).
Don’t forget, once you have your new identity you can set up your website, produce marketing brochures and mailers in our ‘Market your services' section.
